Abbey Farm is a quiet, comfortable base in the heart of the midlands whether you’re on business or taking a break – and within easy reach of Midland towns and cities and motorways.
'The Abbey’ is a small working farm situated on the Leicestershire / Warwickshire border one mile from the M69 /A5 ( Junction 1 ) at Hinckley.
We provide quality bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation in a converted Victorian brick and slate barn, which is one third of a mile from the road, surrounded by fields. There is ample parking, some under cover and secure.
The barn is light and airy, decorated in neutral tones with exposed brick walls and wooden beams. All rooms are en-suite and have free WIFI access.
We farm sympathetically with wildlife. A planned walk will take you through the fruit orchards, past the asparagus beds to where the sheep graze by a small lake. Alternatively relax in the walled garden and enjoy the flowers.
This is a convenient venue for the N.E.C. and N.I.A. Birmingham, N.A.C. Stonleigh, Shakespeare country, Mallory Park and Stoney Cove, and midland fishing lakes especially ‘Makins’. Pets are catered for by arrangement, Abbey Farm is non-smoking.
